Mary is a mother of two young adults and part-time accountant. Having completed a degree in Business Management, Mary worked as an accountant for 23 years. An enthusiastic fitness fan, runner and gym junkie, Mary first started giving massages in the early 1980's to support her athletic husband and friends. In 2004, with the children growing up, a lifestyle change was called for and Mary trained with the NZ College of Massage initially part time to receive a NZ Certificate in Massage and then full-time, completing her Diploma in Therapeutic Massage in 2007. Mary currently works part-time at Hukanui Body Therapies in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Modalities include therapeutic, deep tissue, pregnancy, sports, trigger point, hot stone, relaxation and Indian head massages as well sea-salt body scrubs, workplace/event massage and ante-natal partner support sessions.

Mary is proud to be a director of Hukanui Body Therapies Ltd - a team of dedicated professional natural health therapists, working together to provide clients with the best possible personal care.

Mary particularly enjoys working with and supporting clients who enjoy maintaining a lifestyle of active wellness. She also works with clients who are very serious about their sports, mothers-to-be and those looking for a well-deserved treat!

Most massage sessions last for one hour. Thirty minute sessions are also available and a recommendation for these is an Indian Head Massage - which targets the common tension spots of upper back/shoulders/neck while remaining fully clothed - a quick and affordable option for busy people.

Mary’s hours are:
Monday 11am - 1.30pm & 4.00pm-9.00pm
Thursday 6.30pm - 9.00pm
Friday 11.00am – 6.30pm
